Group Work

Group work can be a powerful and impactful resource for understanding the ways in which we play out patterns created from painful experiences early in life in our current relationships. The group becomes a vehicle by which we can discover more about ourselves and find new ways to respond to the people in our lives. Group can also be a vehicle for developing professional skills and growing our businesses.

The group can be used in a variety of ways and contexts to help us change patterns, develop confidence, and live a more fulfilling life. It offers a unique perspective and dynamic, which would otherwise be unavailable in dyadic interactions.

Current Offerings:

Supervision: Supervision is a unique opportunity to spend time talking about the challenges you face in your work environment. Group members can share in the experience and support one another in unpacking difficult situations while also developing the professional skills necessary to thrive in the workplace setting.

upcoming group:

Massage therapy supervision group: The group as it stands now will be comprised of massage therapists participating in a supervision style format. Members will bring forth any topic they would like to discuss, and all the members will participate in supporting and reflecting on their experiences about the topic. I have a particular interest in discussing money and ways that everyone can increase their income and expand their money-making capacity; however, I expect the group time to be spent in various ways, from talking about client issues, to specific techniques, to feelings about clients, and any other thing that may arise. The group energy is quite powerful, and I imagine we will all be surprised by what we may learn as we go along. I see the group as a vehicle to develop the members into more confident and skilled therapists and successful business owners.

  • Beginning April 24, 2018.
  • Every other Tuesday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm MST.
  • This group will be ongoing.

If you are interested in joining a group, but current times don't work for you, I am happy to talk with you about generating new group opportunities!
